If you're in NZ and keen on a Xiaomi 17, importing from a UK or EU retailer is an option, but it means giving up local warranty support and dealing with import duties that can eat into the price advantage. It's usually worth waiting a few extra weeks for confirmed local stock through an authorised NZ retailer once Xiaomi formalises its local rollout, and checking Twisti in the meantime for interim pricing from parallel importers if you don't want to wait at all.
